From 1984 to 1987, photographer Janet Delaney traveled to New York City to document its everyday life. She carried a twin-lens Rolleiflex camera, which allowed her to capture square-format images with sharp detail. Delaney focused on the streets, photographing ordinary people in ordinary moments.
